| I am going to try my hand at the 50/50 mix of coconut fiber and growrox, but i have no experience with the products and have no idea how much to buy. How far does this stuff go? |

It's really a very easy mix to make, and in my opinion, the best mix.
One brick of coconut fiber will mix to just about fill up a 5 gallon bucket. LECA stone comes in 50L bags (you can also just buy from GTG by the pound). One 5" x 5" (W x H) net pot will hold just about 1.5 - 2lbs of stone, just to give you an idea.
First rinse off the stone, until the red sand doesn't color the water anymore. Mix equal parts (by volume) LECA stone and coconut fiber. You now have your mix. |
