in this system do you connect he air pump to the water pump and the air stone...the instructions are a bit confusing.

Re: turbo flow garden

Steven, to be honest with you, I'm not completely sure what system you are talking about. The turbo cloner? Something else? Most air pump systems though, have the air pump connect directly to the air stone, which is placed underwater. I hope that somewhat answers your questions. If not, please let me know. Thank You.

Re: turbo flow garden

from the instructions it looks reads as if you run an air line to the rio water pump and another/separate line to the air stone...i guess you are aerating the reservoir and the tray at the same time

Re: turbo flow garden

All you really need to worry about is getting air to your air stone in the top chamber. As far as putting an air line in the water pump, just disregard that. The way we had ours set up here was one air line into our air stone, and one just laying inside the top chamber (we had a dual channel air pump). Let me know if you need anything else.

Re: turbo flow garden

i have it hooked up that way now...but i would like to take full advantage of the venturi feature and connect the air hose to the water hose...

Re: turbo flow garden

ok, i got you now... venturi was what i needed to hear. you should have a hose with what looks like a black cap on the end of it, which comes off your small black venturi pump (the one with suction cups on it). keep the cap part of the hose above your water line. this hose sucks in air, then feeds the air into your reservoir. see if that works for you, and let me know.
