| if my well water reads 500 ppm without adding anything to it and i want 500 ppm of nutriance do i keep adding nutriance until it reaches 1000 ppm ? |

The first thing you should do is get your water tested to find out what is in it.It sounds as if you have well water.If that is the case you may have an abundance of certain elements like calcium , so you want to be careful about what kind of ferilizer you use.
